For the third time in a week I was at Vera's home, helping her clean for a birthday party for her baby Henry. Her place had become something of a second home to me--here I could relax and think, gossip and daydream about my future. At home it was so busy, so much preparation for the wedding. As excited as I was, my stomach clenched when I thought of that date, so close in the future; it was so soon, all of this happening so fast around me. It was so wonderful to just take a step back from it all and think everything over.
